Welcome to the homepage of the European Mast Cell and Basophil Network, EMBRN – a global network for those interested in the biology of mast cells and basophils, and the diseases associated with these cell types. Since the inaugural EMBRN meeting in 2004, our network has expanded to over 300 members, fostering a collaborative community of scientists with shared interest. 

EMBRN hosts bi-annual meetings that attract around 200 people, offering a welcoming environment for sharing and discussing research data. We also arrange webinars. We invite you to explore our activities, including meetings, webinars, training school and more, here on our website.

While “European” is in our name, EMBRN welcomes members from across the world. If you would like to join, please apply! Starting in  2025, we are excited to offer dual membership with the International Eosinophil Society (IES) (https://www.eosinophil-society.org)
